The Charted and the Uncharted

This work continues with the themes of improvisation and play, meshing photographs, blueprints, found paper, and an array of painted textures.

Mapping the process of repetition is important to me- building a heightened understanding of a place or workflow by charting the same path repeatedly, and observing how new iterations develop over time through slight variation.

Lighting within the painted canvas vs digitally enhanced environments, recurrences in charted pathways, and the disruption of planned spaces
were also carefully considered within the construction of this piece.
